If you have to make an unwritten yet substantive speech, you don’t have to cram anything, because if you do so you will fail miserably; you will start stuttering and stammering like a weak locomotive starved of running maintenance.
All you need is to put your mind in a state of cognitive order, i.e. just ensure you have a calm and level head, and a reasonable understanding of the subject matter, and your points will flow effortlessly from the time you open your mouth.
