The English Premier League (EPL) has reached a point at which consistency or quick adjustment (depending on where a team is placed) is critical.
While bottom teams will fight to avoid relegation, title challengers such as Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool will have to show the fight within them.
Of these three, Arsenal seems to be struggling yet again, having consecutively lost two of their ‘easy’ fixtures which everyone expected them to win. The Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, recently talked of the outfit having been looking at certain ‘targets’ and, with the January 2024 transfer window having opened today, the dip in his team’s form could not have come at a ‘better’ time.
All in all, the coming four weeks will be key to the contenders’ title credentials, especially with teams such as Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur breathing down their necks.
