African Strongmen

Fellow africans, let me tell you how the happenings of the last two days in the USA will affect you.

As you may well know, Africa has a shortage of many things. However, ‘strongmen’ aren’t one of those things (I’m calling them ‘strongmen’ so that I can be ‘measured’ and ‘original’).

Now, to the effect(s);.

1. A ‘strongman’ will not accept defeat even after losing an electoral contest.

2. In a highly charged electoral contest, and especially at the time of announcement of results, the following will be shut down;

– social media (mnapiga ‘kelele’ sana)
– TV and radio stations
– mobile telephony

You will only be left to read newspapers which, for the most part, will be carrying stale ‘news’.
