Kenyans and their Presidents

I don’t know what it is about Kenyans and their presidents. After just one term, Kenyans tend to want to remove their president from power. I wonder why.
A few examples would suffice;

1. Kibaki had massive support and goodwill in 2002 (no Kenyan president has ever garnered that kind of support). Come 2007, you know what happened.

2. In 2013, against the backdrop of the ‘kumira kumira’ and ‘thuraku’ wave, the Uhuruto pair was confirmed by SCOK as having won.
In 2017, you know what happened.

3. In 2022, Uhuru’s ratings were so diminished to the extent that there was nothing left of his support base. Nothing.

Will it be any different in 2027? Your guess is as good as mine.
