You see, that is the only opportunity you have to be evaluated for the role that you applied for, and you will not be alone. You can’t make it to the second interview if you don’t act and look the part during the first one.
In some cases, you can make mistakes when already employed and get away with it. Same cannot be said during an interview; you would be lucky if that happened.
